Anna Gillett

Principal Consultant, Head of Risk, Issues and Crisis

Anna has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate affairs, focusing on strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, issues and crisis management. Anna held senior corporate communications, government and stakeholder relations roles at Melbourne Airport and has experience in the telecommunications, engineering, infrastructure, energy, mining and agriculture sectors. 

Peter Trevaskis

Senior Communications Strategist

Peter has more than 15 years’ experience in communications, marketing, events and commercial strategy. He has worked in a range of senior management roles across media, agencies, professional sport and NSOs. Peter has worked with a broad range of clients across sectors including automotive, engineering, FMCG, Defence, technology and high-performance sport. He uses experience as a journalist and sports administrator to underpin strong writing and issues management skills. 

Anna Butler

Group Client Director

Anna has 10 years’ experience working in strategic communications for public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Her experience includes crisis and issues management, communication strategy and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Bastion Reputation Management, Anna worked in the Communications and Engagement Team responding to New Zealand’s largest environmental disaster – The Rena Oil Spill. The spill is, to date, the world’s second most expensive marine clean-up operation and received significant national and international media attention. Anna has also worked in strategic communications roles for a Victorian government department and a not-for-profit social housing provider in London.
